scope
With this data protection declaration, users receive information about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider.
The legal framework for data protection is formed by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG new) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).
Collection of general information
Every time you access these websites, we or the web space provider automatically collect information. This information, also known as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally.
Among other things, the following is recorded: name of the website, file, date, amount of data, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your Internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our offer) and the IP address.
Without this data, it would sometimes not be technically possible to deliver and display the content of the website. In this respect, collecting the data is absolutely necessary. We also use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. They help us to optimize the offer and the technology. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the log files if we suspect illegal use of our offering.
Handling of personal data
Definition: Personal data is any information that can be used to clearly identify a person. This is therefore data that can be traced back to a person.
This personal data includes the first name, last name, address, telephone number and email address. Information about hobbies, memberships and preferences as well as websites that have been accessed are also considered personal data.
We only collect, use and, if necessary, pass on this data if the law expressly allows this or the user consents to the collection, processing, use and transfer of the data (declaration of consent at the end of the respective form).
Registration on our website
If you register on our website to receive personalized services, personal data will be collected. This includes the name, address, telephone number and email address as contact and communication data. For certain functions, additional information is also available, such as the name of your organization or the ordinal number of your locality.
Registration allows access to services and content that are only available to registered users. If necessary, registered users have the opportunity to change or delete the data provided during registration at any time. If you wish, we will of course inform you which personal data has been collected and stored. In addition, we will correct or delete the data upon request, provided the request does not conflict with any legal retention obligations. If you have any questions or request that your data be corrected or deleted, please use the contact details listed at the end.
Provision of paid services
So that we can provide paid services, we request additional data. This applies, for example, to payment information. To ensure the security of your data during transmission, we work with encryption methods (such as SSL) via HTTPS, which reflect the current state of the art.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we will use the data you enter exclusively for this purpose or to inform you about the circumstances relevant to this service or registration. We do not pass this data on to third parties.
To receive the newsletter, a valid email address is required. The IP address you use to register for the newsletter and the date on which you order the newsletter are also stored. This data serves as proof of misuse if a third-party email address is registered for the newsletter. In order to ensure that an email address is not improperly entered into our mailing list by third parties, we work in accordance with the law using the so-called “double opt-in” procedure. As part of this procedure, the ordering of the newsletter, the sending of the confirmation email and the receipt of the registration confirmation are recorded.
You have the option at any time to revoke your consent to the storage of data, your email address and their use for sending newsletters. We provide you with a link in every newsletter and on the website for revocation. You also have the option of informing us of your wish to revoke your consent using the contact options listed at the end.
contact form
If you contact us via the online form or by email, we will save the information you provide in order to be able to answer your inquiry and ask possible follow-up questions.
Integration of third-party services and content
Our offering sometimes includes content, services and benefits from other providers. These are, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube and graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be accessed and displayed in the user's browser, the transmission of the IP address is absolutely necessary. The providers (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) perceive the IP address of the respective user.
Even if we try to only use third-party providers who only need the IP address to be able to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored. In this case, this process serves, among other things, statistical purposes. If we are aware that the IP address is being stored, we will inform our users of this.
Cookies
This website uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer by the server. They contain information about the browser, IP address, operating system and internet connection. We will not pass this data on to third parties or link it to personal data without your consent.
Cookies fulfill two main tasks. They help us to make it easier for you to navigate through our offerings and enable the website to be displayed correctly. They are not used to introduce viruses or start programs.
Users have the option of accessing our offering without cookies. To do this, the relevant settings must be changed in the browser. Please use your browser's help function to find out how to deactivate cookies. However, we would like to point out that this may affect some functions of this website and limit the ease of use. The sites www.aboutads.info/choices/ (USA) and www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ (Europe) allow you to manage online advertising cookies .
Google AdWords
This website uses the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and as part of this conversion tracking. Google Adwords sets a cookie on your computer if you came to our website via a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers.
The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, you will not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.
If you do not want to take part in the tracking process, you can easily deactivate the Google conversion tracking cookie via your Internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. You can find out more about Google's data protection regulations at www.google.de/policies/privacy/
Data economy
In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, we only store personal data for as long as it is necessary or as required by law (statutory storage period). If the purpose of the information collected no longer applies or the storage period ends, we will block or delete the data.
Data security
In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure and to ensure the accuracy of the data and to ensure the authorized use of the data, we use appropriate technical and organizational procedures. However, no electronic communication is completely secure. This means that any data and information that you voluntarily transmit to us could be obtained by third parties through unlawful data acquisition. We cannot accept any responsibility or liability for disclosure of information due to errors and/or unauthorized access during data transmission by third parties.
References and links
When you access websites referred to on this website, you may be asked again for information such as name, address, email address, browser properties, etc. This privacy policy does not regulate the collection, transfer or handling of personal data by third parties.
Third party service providers may have different and their own regulations regarding the collection, processing and use of personal data. It is therefore advisable to find out about their practices for handling personal data on third-party websites before entering personal data.
Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection
You have the right to request information, free of charge, about the personal data we have stored and/or to request correction, blocking or deletion. Exceptions: This is the mandatory data storage for business transactions or the data is subject to the statutory retention requirement.

In order to be able to take a data block into account at any time, it is necessary to keep the data in a blocking file for control purposes. If there is no legal obligation to archive, you can also request that the data be deleted. Otherwise, we will block the data if you request this.
Changes to our privacy policy
In order to ensure that our data protection declaration always complies with current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This also applies in the event that the data protection declaration needs to be adjusted due to new or revised services, for example new services.
